[Dev]Should we accept the hotfix for openEuler 21.09 docker image?
As you know, the Cloud Native SIG maintains the repo openeuler-docker-images <https://gitee.com/openeuler/openeuler-docker-images> to provide some download script and publish the docker image to oepkg or docker hub and other potential docker registry. The original rule is download the docker images from official images <https://repo.openeuler.org/openEuler-21.09/docker_img/>, then use docker buildx *publish them directly with nothing changed*. But recently, we encountered some issue of docker image like: https://gitee.com/openeuler/openeuler-docker-images/issues/I4L2BZ The issue brings the bad experience of using the openEuler docker image. But there is no follow update on the official mirror repo, that means the online docker images are not available until we fix it and update the images. (yum update failed in this case) One quickly and possible way might be we could do a hotfix on dockerfile like: https://gitee.com/openeuler/openeuler-docker-images/pulls/14 It's very simple from a technical view, but it will cause *published images to be different from original images in the official mirror repo. Hi Yikun Jiang,thanks for your advice. When this issue was fist find,we fix it in update repo.But we don't update the images immediately,because we need make plan to test it. Thanks for the reply, that's why I posted this question on the mail list, it's really related to release policy. So, as your suggestion, we have to wait for the official image repository to be released before we can update the docker registry, instead of allowing direct updates based on dockerfile like this <https://gitee.com/openeuler/openeuler-docker-images/pulls/14>, right?
