This patch adds multi-process support for testpmd. The test cmd example as follows: the primary cmd: ./testpmd -w xxx --file-prefix=xx -l 0-1 -n 2 -- -i\ --rxq=16 --txq=16 --num-procs=2 --proc-id=0 the secondary cmd: ./testpmd -w xxx --file-prefix=xx -l 2-3 -n 2 -- -i\ --rxq=16 --txq=16 --num-procs=2 --proc-id=1
Can you update this in the testpmd usage guide. There are so many things that testpmd can do. What will happen to the stats if I quit one of the processes and start again? In case of multiple Rx queues, how will RSS happen? It will be good to have the behavior of various features documented - some of the questions have been already answered. They can be documented as well. --
