请问我需要新建一个视频相关的SIG组吗？ Do I need to create a video-related SIG group?
尊敬的TC委员会，你们好： 我是哈尔滨工业大学（深圳）的大四学生，王海涛，现在在华为计算开源开发与运营部门实习。 我在做 openEuler 2021暑期项目的，给树莓派提供 Retropie 复古游戏机这个项目中，发现 openEuler 缺失 vlc，OpenCV 等软件包。 经过我几个月的移植之后，我成功在 openEuler 21.03 上打包好了这两个包，总共涉及依赖将近 140 个软件包。 现在想要把这些视频相关的包提交到 SIG 组里面，考虑到 140 个包过于庞大，是否需要新成立一个新的视频相关的 SIG 组来单独维护这些视频相关的包呢？ 因为几个包放到树莓派我觉得还好，但是 140 个的话，会不会与树莓派这个SIG不太符合呢？ 我也不太清楚，因此特来请教。 期待您的回复， 王海涛。 Dear TC Committee, I am Wang Haitao, a senior student in Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). Now I am working as an intern in huawei computing Open Source Development and operation Department. When I was working on the openEuler 2021 Summer project to provide Raspberry PI with Retropie, I found that openEuler was missing VLC, OpenCV and other software packages. After a few months of porting, I managed to package these two packages on openEuler 21.03, involving a total of nearly 140 software packages. Now I want to submit these video-related packages to the SIG group. Considering that 140 packages are too large, is it necessary to establish a new video-related SIG group to maintain these video-related packages independently? I think it's fine to submit a few packages to raspberry PI SIG, but it's 140, wouldn't that corrput the raspberry PI SIG? I'm not sure, so I'm here to ask you. Looking forward to your reply, Haitao.
Haitao，您好， 很高兴看到移植 VLC / OpenCV 到 openEuler 的开发者。谢谢。 VLC 和 OpenCV 都是非常重要的软件包，OpenCV 还是还是计算机视觉的基础，在树莓派 SIG 来做维护确实不太合适。 VLC 可以考虑看桌面相关的 SIG 组是否能维护，之前 多媒体框架基础包整合到 Desktop SIG 组中。 OpenCV 经常被计算机视觉相关解决使用，与人工智能方向紧密相关， 不确定 ai-bigdata 的 maintainer 是否有意维护。 ——王建民
