2.开发进展:Docker接近完成,bishengJDK进行中

   议题二:openEuler RISC-V的定位、路标讨论

openEuler RISC-V定位:

a)      基于openEuler在边缘测提供云原生能力

                                           i.            Kernel 升级5.10      ---- zhoupeng (nutshell) / zhangxuzhou (QEMU)

                                         ii.            近期目标支持(QEMU/docker/bishengJDK),远期目标(stratovirt/isulad/bishengJDK

b)      提供一站式的RISC-V软件平台

                                           i.            提供开箱可用的RISC-V交叉工具链(rpm/deb, x86-to-riscv64 arm-to-riscv64

                                         ii.            移植轻量级的AIoT框架;

c)      社区生态合作和推广

                                           i.            国内RISC-V厂商今年会发布多款RV64芯片,持续接触寻找合作的机会;

                                         ii.            在赛昉发布的板子上尝试运行openEuler RISC-V  ----  zhoupeng

                                        iii.            编写入门教程发布在openEulerin progress: RISC-V docker的部署和运行)

Meeting summary:

Topic 1: Recent Progress of openEuler RISC-V

1.1  Community progress: OpenEuler Summit report, university developer contest, and openEuler homepage download

1.2. Development progress: Docker is nearly completed, and bishengJDK is in progress.

Topic 2: OpenEuler RISC-V Positioning and Roadmap Discussion

OpenEuler RISC-V positioning:

2.1 Provide cloud-native capabilities at the edge based on openEuler.

i. Upgrading the Kernel to 5.10 ---- zhoupeng (nutshell) / zhangxuzhou (QEMU)

ii. Short-term target porting (QEMU/Docker/BishengJDK), long-term target porting (stratovirt/isulad/bishengJDK)

2.2  One-stop RISC-V software platform

i. RISC-V cross tool chain available out of the box (rpm/deb, x86-to-riscv64 arm-to-riscv64)

ii. Port the lightweight AIoT framework.

2.3  Community ecosystem cooperation and promotion

i. RISC-V vendors in China will release multiple RV64 chips this year to continuously seek cooperation opportunities.

ii. Run openEuler RISC-V ---- zhoupeng on the board released by Sai Fang.

iii. Compile an introduction tutorial and release it on OpenEuler (deployment and running of RISC-V docker).
