Accessing sysfs-efivars interface '/sys/firmware/efi/vars' may have some problem. We can access the new efivarfs interface '/sys/firmware/efi/efivars' instead. So disable CONFIG_EFI_VARS and keep CONFIG_EFIVAR_FS enabled.
