Hi, everyone.
I have been working on porting openeuler to a cortex-a7 based board. Some errors hit me when building arm32 openeuler 4.19.90 kernel in *ubuntu-base-16.04-core-armhf.tar.gz* chroot environment emulated by qemu-user-static. The errors were endless even though I commented on some CONFIG options and fixed some errors. Here are some of my questions:
- Did openeuler test kernel arm32 build before the LTS-20.03 release, that maybe help me out?
No. LTS-20.03 does not have an arm32 release and has not been tested on the arm32 platform.
- Will openeuler provide arm32 support in future version? And a detailed date?
We do not have a plan to support ARM32 at this point, and it would be great if you could help to do it.
IMHO, the patches merged into the openEuler kernel do not break the support for ARM32. So, select a proper config would be helpful for building on arm32 platform.
Looking for your rely.
