[PATCH OLK-5.10] Bluetooth: L2CAP: use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen()
by Chen Jinghuang 20 Jul '26

20 Jul '26
From: Siwei Zhang <oss(a)fourdim.xyz> stable inclusion from stable-v5.10.259 commit 3634cbdc2eb414b69ffa752ddbe5e0458518e321 category: bugfix bugzilla: NA Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit 8c8e620467a7b51562dbcefbd1f09f288d7d710d ] l2cap_chan_close() removes the channel from conn->chan_l, which must be done under conn->lock. cleanup_listen() runs under the parent sk_lock, so acquiring conn->lock would invert the established conn->lock -> chan->lock -> sk_lock order. Instead of calling l2cap_chan_close() directly, schedule l2cap_chan_timeout with delay 0 to close the channel asynchronously. The timeout handler already acquires conn->lock and chan->lock in the correct order. The timer is only armed when chan->conn is still set: if it is already NULL, l2cap_conn_del() has already processed this channel (l2cap_chan_del + l2cap_sock_teardown_cb + l2cap_sock_close_cb), so there is nothing left to do. If l2cap_conn_del() races in after the timer is armed, __clear_chan_timer() inside l2cap_chan_del() cancels it; if the timer has already fired, the handler returns harmlessly because chan->conn was cleared. Fixes: 3df91ea20e74 ("Bluetooth: Revert to mutexes from RCU list") Cc: <stable(a)vger.kernel.org> # 0b58004: Bluetooth: fix UAF in l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() vs l2cap_conn_del() Signed-off-by: Siwei Zhang <oss(a)fourdim.xyz> Signed-off-by: Luiz Augusto von Dentz <luiz.von.dentz(a)intel.com> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal(a)kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh(a)linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Chen Jinghuang <chenjinghuang2(a)huawei.com> --- net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c | 16 +++++++++------- 1 file changed, 9 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) diff --git a/net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c b/net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c index 644ec4bf06f0..4b4a9268f007 100644 --- a/net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c +++ b/net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c @@ -1441,6 +1441,10 @@ static void l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen(struct sock *parent) * pin it (hold_unless_zero() additionally skips a chan already past * its last reference). [PATCH OLK-6.6] bpf: Free reuseport cBPF prog after RCU grace period.
by superdcc97@163.com 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26
From: Kuniyuki Iwashima <kuniyu(a)google.com> stable inclusion from stable-v6.6.143 commit f8b8f1d4bb76098e87b8269a0631019648330e6d category: bugfix bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/15607 CVE: CVE-2026-52910 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit 18fc650ccd7fe3376eca89203668cfb8268f60df ] Eulgyu Kim reported the splat below with a repro. [0] The repro sets up a UDP reuseport group with a cBPF prog and replaces it with a new one while another thread is sending a UDP packet to the group. The reuseport prog is freed by sk_reuseport_prog_free(). bpf_prog_put() is called for "e"BPF prog to destruct through multiple stages while cBPF prog is freed immediately by bpf_release_orig_filter() and bpf_prog_free(). If a reuseport prog is detached from the setsockopt() path (reuseport_attach_prog() or reuseport_detach_prog()), sk_reuseport_prog_free() is called without waiting for RCU readers to complete, resulting in various bugs. Let's defer freeing the reuseport cBPF prog after one RCU grace period. Note "e"BPF prog is safe as is unless the fast path starts to touch fields destroyed in bpf_prog_put_deferred() and __bpf_prog_put_noref(). [PATCH OLK-6.6] udp: clear skb->dev before running a sockmap verdict
by superdcc97@163.com 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26
From: Sechang Lim <rhkrqnwk98(a)gmail.com> stable inclusion from stable-v6.6.143 commit 1b585673a2249f13678e7ac443ac683ba767e0b6 category: bugfix CVE: CVE-2026-53184 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- commit 3c94f241f776562c489876ff506f366224565c21 upstream. On the UDP receive path skb->dev is repurposed as dev_scratch (the truesize/state cache set by udp_set_dev_scratch()), through the union { struct net_device *dev; unsigned long dev_scratch; } in sk_buff. When a UDP socket is in a sockmap, sk_data_ready is sk_psock_verdict_data_ready(), which calls udp_read_skb() -> recv_actor() (sk_psock_verdict_recv) to run the attached SK_SKB verdict program in softirq. If that program calls a socket-lookup helper (bpf_sk_lookup_tcp/udp, bpf_skc_lookup_tcp), bpf_skc_lookup() does: if (skb->dev) caller_net = dev_net(skb->dev); skb->dev still holds the dev_scratch value (a non-NULL integer), so dev_net() dereferences it as a struct net_device * and the kernel takes a general protection fault on a non-canonical address in softirq: Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0x1010000800004a0 CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 1406 Comm: syz.2.19 Not tainted 7.1.0-rc6 #1 PREEMPT(full) RIP: 0010:bpf_skc_lookup net/core/filter.c:7033 [inline] RIP: 0010:bpf_sk_lookup+0x45/0x160 net/core/filter.c:7047 Call Trace: <IRQ> bpf_prog_4675cb904b7071f8+0x12e/0x14e bpf_prog_run_pin_on_cpu+0xc6/0x1f0 sk_psock_verdict_recv+0x1ba/0x350 udp_read_skb+0x31a/0x370 sk_psock_verdict_data_ready+0x2e3/0x600 __udp_enqueue_schedule_skb+0x4c8/0x650 udpv6_queue_rcv_one_skb+0x3ec/0x740 udp6_unicast_rcv_skb+0x11d/0x140 ip6_protocol_deliver_rcu+0x61e/0x950 ip6_input_finish+0xa9/0x150 NF_HOOK+0x286/0x2f0 ip6_input+0x117/0x220 NF_HOOK+0x286/0x2f0 __netif_receive_skb+0x85/0x200 process_backlog+0x374/0x9a0 __napi_poll+0x4f/0x1c0 net_rx_action+0x3b0/0x770 handle_softirqs+0x15a/0x460 do_softirq+0x57/0x80 </IRQ> The rmem charge that dev_scratch accounted for is released by skb_recv_udp() on dequeue, just above, so the scratch is dead by the time recv_actor() runs. [PATCH OLK-6.6] netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register

From: Davide Ornaghi <d.ornaghi97(a)gmail.com> stable inclusion from stable-v6.6.143 commit eb8a8124484dbc3c2b543e207da39bbccb703d31 category: bugfix bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/15828 CVE: CVE-2026-53134 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit ab185e0c4fb82dfba6fb86f8271e06f931d9c64c ] For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNAME the destination register is declared with len = IFNAMSIZ (four 32-bit registers), but on the lookup-fail, RTN_LOCAL and oif-mismatch paths nft_fib{4,6}_eval() only writes one register via "*dest = 0". The remaining three registers are left as whatever was on the stack in nft_do_chain()'s struct nft_regs, and a downstream expression that loads the register span can leak that uninitialised kernel stack to userspace. The NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT existence check has the same shape: it is only meaningful for NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF, yet it was accepted for any result type while the eval stores a single byte via nft_reg_store8(), leaving the rest of the declared span stale. Fix both: - replace the bare "*dest = 0" in the eval with nft_fib_store_result(), which strscpy_pad()s the whole IFNAMSIZ for OIFNAME (and is already used on the other early-return path), and - restrict NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT to NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF and declare its destination as a single u8, so the marked span matches the one byte the eval writes. [CAUSE] ocfs2_info_freefrag_scan_chain() uses on-disk bg_bits directly as the bitmap scan limit. The coherent path reads group descriptors through ocfs2_read_group_descriptor(), which validates the descriptor before use. The non-coherent path uses ocfs2_read_blocks_sync() instead and skips that validation, so an impossible bg_bits value can drive the bitmap walk past the end of the block. [FIX] Compute the bitmap capacity from the filesystem format with ocfs2_group_bitmap_size(), report descriptors whose bg_bits exceeds that limit, and clamp the scan to the computed capacity. This keeps the freefrag report going while avoiding reads beyond the buffer. [PATCH OLK-5.10] isofs: validate Rock Ridge CE continuation extent against volume size
by Long Li 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26
From: Michael Bommarito <michael.bommarito(a)gmail.com> mainline inclusion from mainline-v7.0 commit a36d990f591320e9dd379ab30063ebfe91d47e1f category: bugfix bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/15613 CVE: CVE-2026-46303 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?… -------------------------------- rock_continue() reads rs->cont_extent verbatim from the Rock Ridge CE record and passes it to sb_bread() without checking that the block number is within the mounted ISO 9660 volume. commit e595447e177b ("[PATCH] rock.c: handle corrupted directories") added cont_offset and cont_size rejection for the CE continuation but did not validate the extent block number itself. commit f54e18f1b831 ("isofs: Fix infinite looping over CE entries") later capped the CE chain length at RR_MAX_CE_ENTRIES = 32 but again left the block number unchecked. With a crafted ISO mounted via udisks2 (desktop optical auto-mount) or via CAP_SYS_ADMIN mount, rs->cont_extent can therefore point at an out-of-range block or at blocks belonging to an adjacent filesystem on the same block device. sb_bread() on an out-of-range block returns NULL cleanly via the block layer EIO path, so there is no memory-safety violation. For in-range reads of adjacent- filesystem data, the CE buffer is parsed as Rock Ridge records and only the text of SL sub-records reaches userspace through readlink(), which makes the info-leak channel narrow and difficult to exploit; still, rejecting the malformed CE outright matches the rejection shape already present in the same function for cont_offset and cont_size. Add an ISOFS_SB(sb)->s_nzones bounds check to rock_continue() next to the existing offset/size rejection, printing the same corrupted-directory-entry notice. [PATCH OLK-5.10] sctp: fix OOB write to userspace in sctp_getsockopt_peer_auth_chunks
by Jinjiang Tu 16 Jul '26

From: Michael Bommarito <michael.bommarito(a)gmail.com> stable inclusion from stable-v5.10.258 commit a132e199de69e2a45628aa8534df1bf5d44e1b6e category: bugfix bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/15706 CVE: CVE-2026-53004 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit 0cf004ffb61cd32d140531c3a84afe975f9fc7ea ] sctp_getsockopt_peer_auth_chunks() checks that the caller's optval buffer is large enough for the peer AUTH chunk list with if (len < num_chunks) return -EINVAL; but then writes num_chunks bytes to p->gauth_chunks, which lives at offset offsetof(struct sctp_authchunks, gauth_chunks) == 8 inside optval. The check is missing the sizeof(struct sctp_authchunks) = 8-byte header. When the caller supplies len == num_chunks (for any num_chunks > 0) the test passes but copy_to_user() writes sizeof(struct sctp_authchunks) = 8 bytes past the declared buffer. The sibling function sctp_getsockopt_local_auth_chunks() at the next line already has the correct check: if (len < sizeof(struct sctp_authchunks) + num_chunks) return -EINVAL; Align the peer variant with its sibling. Reproducer confirms on v7.0-13-generic: an unprivileged userspace caller that opens a loopback SCTP association with AUTH enabled, queries num_chunks with a short optval, then issues the real getsockopt with len == num_chunks and sentinel bytes painted past the buffer observes those sentinel bytes overwritten with the peer's AUTH chunk type. The bytes written are under the peer's control but land in the caller's own userspace; this is not a kernel memory corruption, but it is a kernel-side contract violation that can silently corrupt adjacent userspace data.
