[Infra][Blog][Website]Thoughts on integrate with Blog and Homepage

Hi all, Previously, Blog system was supposed to be embedded in homepage, but because Blog system has only one language, and openEuler.org has both English and Chinese, thus Blog system was moved out. This lead several issues: 1. The blog was not inside openeuler.org and it is not easy to put some of the blogs in the homepage. 2. The theme of blog was different from openeuler.org. What options? 1. move blog into website, and copy the same content into both en and zh. 2. leave English and Chinese separately of the blogs in openeuler.org and the shortage is that the content in English and Chinese may be different. 3. Leave the log as it is, but list some hot blogs in openeuler.org, either in English or Chinese. What do you think? Please leave comments in [1], or reply this email. Your opinion matters. Hi all, openEuler Virtual Summit 2020[1] is coming! We, as a team to provide procedures for the community, should have a planning meeting, shouldn't we? I nominate myself as the chair to serve you on this meeting, and have the following idea: 1. Let's request a 2 hours' meeting time slot on the design summit. 2. We visit different roles in the community, and get to know what we should do to serve the community better. On the meeting we can prioritize the tasks we should to in the coming release cycle (openEuler 20.09) till September, 2020. 3. I would like to use English to talk, at list mixed English and Chinese, as the video will be uploaded to internet. What is your thought? Hi Docs team, community, To add one committer to Docs team, @amyMaYun submitted [1], and I put -1 comment with reason, but I haven't got any reply so far. @Rudy_Tan submitted another one [2], and it got approved immediately. I am not against the nominated committer himself/herself, but I am against the process. I propos to revert [2] if there is not a reasonalbe explanation. Hi all, Currently there are 2 members working as committers for community governance. You can find the details [1]. As the tasks of this team is growing, ( [2] is the open or ongoing tasks), if there are more committers working on those, that would be great to the team. @blueskycs2c has beening contributing for not such long time, but she has shown warm heart, skills in open source community and good understanding on community culture and governance. Please find her contribution to the repo community in [3]. And evey outside of this repo, she has many valuable proposals and findings, and [4] is one of them. I would say due to limitations of Gitee, it is not easy to search out all her contributions, so the following is only a few part. I would like to hear our current contributors' opinions on nonimating her as committer. [governance]Do we need to define who should approve for the PRs?

Hi all, One colleague pinged me to discuss the process about review and approve. What he said was “PR的approve我们的流程是不是需要固定一下，好像感觉没有明确谁最终approve，大家都在看”. In English, it seems that many committers may have reviewed but no one approves usually, should we define who should approve? For your information, currently, one PR will not be merged until both /lgtm and /approve are labeled. Only committers/maintainers can /lgtm and /approve. In my opinion, it is up to each SIG to decide whether they need identify who should do /approve. In my team, we committers follow the non-written rule: 1. the PR should be reviewed, and all the comments should be handled and replied. If not, /lgtm will not be given. 2. if one committer gives the first /lgtm, the committer doesn’t give /approve usually, unless the PR is obviously an easy one. In other word, 2 committers to agree on the PR are a must. What is your opinion or suggestion? Regards Fred 李永乐
