[PATCH openEuler-1.0-LTS] mac80211: track only QoS data frames for admission control
by Dong Chenchen 02 Jul '24

02 Jul '24
From: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg(a)intel.com> stable inclusion from stable-v4.19.222 commit 69f054d6642c8f6173724ce17e7ee3ff66b8f682 category: bugfix bugzilla: https://gitee.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/IA6SH2 CVE: CVE-2021-47602 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit d5e568c3a4ec2ddd23e7dc5ad5b0c64e4f22981a ] For admission control, obviously all of that only works for QoS data frames, otherwise we cannot even access the QoS field in the header. Syzbot reported (see below) an uninitialized value here due to a status of a non-QoS nullfunc packet, which isn't even long enough to contain the QoS header. Fix this to only do anything for QoS data packets. [PATCH v2 OLK-5.10] wifi: carl9170: add a proper sanity check for endpoints

[PATCH openEuler-22.03-LTS-SP1] wifi: carl9170: add a proper sanity check for endpoints
by Li Huafei 02 Jul '24

From: Nikita Zhandarovich <n.zhandarovich(a)fintech.ru> stable inclusion from stable-v5.10.219 commit 8650725bb0a48b206d5a8ddad3a7488f9a5985b7 category: bugfix bugzilla: https://gitee.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/IA6S5Z CVE: CVE-2024-3856 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit b6dd09b3dac89b45d1ea3e3bd035a3859c0369a0 ] Syzkaller reports [1] hitting a warning which is caused by presence of a wrong endpoint type at the URB sumbitting stage. While there was a check for a specific 4th endpoint, since it can switch types between bulk and interrupt, other endpoints are trusted implicitly. Similar warning is triggered in a couple of other syzbot issues [2]. Fix the issue by doing a comprehensive check of all endpoints taking into account difference between high- and full-speed configuration. [1] Syzkaller report: ... [PATCH OLK-6.6] rcu: Fix buffer overflow in print_cpu_stall_info()
by Yu Liao 02 Jul '24

02 Jul '24
From: Nikita Kiryushin <kiryushin(a)ancud.ru> stable inclusion from stable-v6.6.33 commit afb39909bfb5c08111f99e21bf5be7505f59ff1c category: bugfix bugzilla: https://gitee.com/src-openeuler/kernel/issues/IA6S9X CVE: CVE-2024-38576 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id… -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit 3758f7d9917bd7ef0482c4184c0ad673b4c4e069 ] The rcuc-starvation output from print_cpu_stall_info() might overflow the buffer if there is a huge difference in jiffies difference. The situation might seem improbable, but computers sometimes get very confused about time, which can result in full-sized integers, and, in this case, buffer overflow. Also, the unsigned jiffies difference is printed using %ld, which is normally for signed integers. This is intentional for debugging purposes, but it is not obvious from the code. This commit therefore changes sprintf() to snprintf() and adds a clarifying comment about intention of %ld format. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
